The Sound of Abusic
Well, our new team member arrived and she seems quite normal. Knowing how important it was for her to feel welcome and accepted, we slipped a frog in her pocket and a pine cone on her chair. Perhaps next week, if it all works out well between her and the handsome sea-captain, we'll skive off work and hike over the mountain to freedom.

Aaah Loney - so you too sat and relived the joys of the heady pre-war days in Austria over the weekend on Southern Cross?
I like your healthy skepticism when it comes to new workmates. For an indication as to whether they'll stick around or fit in I always rely on my gut instinct. If they dont 'get involved' at all or seem interested in their colleagues lives outside of work nor offer any insights to their own, usually they dont hang around.
I like the pine cone on the seat but I woukd have coated the seat in vegemite or 1snack2.0
Hi Rita, yes I actually have it on video. Must upgrade to dvd...
Not sure about vegemite on the seat, Steve, but we did make our American friend eat some today. She went home sick.
